Hei!

Finnish Vappu in a nutshell

You have probably heard of Vappu, since it’s in the minds of every Finnish student now that it’s almost here. For students, Vappu gives a much needed break from the pressure of deadlines and exams, but what is it really celebrated for?

Mobility as a value

In addition to good times and parties, ESN also wants to make a change. To embrace important ESN values, such as internationality, inclusiveness, and mobility, ESN launched international projects.

Now it’s time to introduce you to one of them: Mov’in Europe! The project was launched in 2014 and the main aim of Mov’in Europe is to promote mobility.

Already more than two weeks have gone by since two buses full of tired exchange students and ESN organisers returned to Turku at the crack of dawn after an eventful week in Lapland.  Our journey started a week before on a bleak Monday evening when 101 exchange students, 7 organisers, more than 100 suitcases, backpacks and other bags and two bus drivers left the grey south hoping for a winter wonderland.  After hours of sitting, sitting and more sitting, quick stops at gas stations and then more sitting we finally reached the Arctic Circle where Santa was waiting to greet us.

Let's take a look at the autumn semester 2016 in Turku!

Hello, all ESNers, exchange students, and curious visitors from all over the world!

Welcome to the webpage of ESN Uni Turku. We decided to fix the page more up to date, and as a new feature we would like to introduce our Blog, where we will be updating about the ESN life in Turku. We aim at making the page as easily navigateable as possible so you'll always be posted about our activities.
