Do you want the Erasmus experience in your home country?

ESN Uni Turku is looking for new passionate active members throughout the year.

Active members are volunteers who actively participate in the life of ESN Uni Turku by assisting organising events, and making sure our events go smoothly and according to plans.

  • Help organising events (ideas, logistics, management, coordination, delivering games/activities, holding checkpoints, etc.)
  • Act as group leader, e.g. on orientation week events (pub crawl, checkpoint races, etc.)
  • Be a doorkeeper at our parties
  • Attend our board meetings

We are also looking for volunteers for other roles, you name it. Erasmus can be everything you want it to be, thus if you have an activity suggestion, would like to plan a quiz night, participate in a cause, drop by and tell us more (e.g. on a board meeting).

Anyone can become an active member who otherwise meet the requirements for being a member of the association.

What else is in it for you?

  • For example doorkeepers at our parties in exchange for their hard work get a free patch, free entry, free cloak room and a drink coupon.
  • To show our appreciation for active members, we prioritise them when considering roles in bigger events or trips (e.g. group leaders at the Pirates of the Baltic Sea, Lofoten trip, Lapland excursion).
  • Additionally, upon active engagement in our operations, active members became eligible for our active members' membership fee, which is half of the regular membership fee.
